Creating An Entry In Your Supporter Database

Adding supporters to your database is simple and intuitive within CommitChange. Just navigate to your Supporters dashboard (using the icon that looks like an address book in the left-hand dashboard menu).

  • Add a Note for your internal records.
  • Manage and create tags and fields to make your database even more robust. When you have tags set up, you can search for specific tags to make reporting more dynamic and streamlined as well as to make finding supporters easier.
  • Custom fields help you customize your database for the information that matters to your organization.
  • If your supporter has a donation history, you can also log their offline donations.

Need additional information from a volunteer? Want to ask a supporter to join your board or match a donation? You can send them an email directly from their supporter entry.

Changes made to your supporters' records are logged and viewable by both Admins and Associates on your account.

If you made a mistake or just need to delete an entry, press the red Delete button; it's as simple as that. Deleting a supporter won't delete the donations they have made through the CommitChange platform, but it will delete any offline donations that were logged through it.

With our streamlined approach to data management, your staff members no longer need multiple degrees and certificates just to keep your supporters organized.
