How We Handle Chargebacks

When a donor disputes a payment they've made towards your nonprofit, CommitChange is notified and places a hold on the funds within your CommitChange account. We then will send you an email explaining the dispute process and the best way to resolve the matter, which usually involves contacting the donor and requesting that they reverse the dispute through their financial institution. 

If you have a donor disputing a payment, please do not refund the payment, as that will complicate the dispute process and may result in the funds being removed from your account twice.
